In 2007, the boy's varsity basketball team went 8-0 and won the league championship versus Saint Mark Catholic School. The stars Arthur Drexler and Michael Kelly both averaged near 20 points per game in leading this charge. As the winningest coach in St. Vincent Ferrer history, Kenneth Burke was quoted as saying "This was by far the best duo I have ever seen on this court." Other starters were Nick Swilley, Phillip Stenz, and John "Jack" English. In a two- year span the team went 19-1, the only loss being in the championship versus Lake Worth Christian.
